It took 3 hours when they told us 30 minutes, our charge was more than double the quote, plus it was to fix a mistake someone made but nobody will fess up to. Very dissatisfied and wish I wouldn't have gotten a sonata! Next time I will go with a company with better CS!
If i could give them 0 stars, i would. This is a bit lengthy. My first trip to the dealership, i was told i needed a co-signer (which i kinda figured anyways because my credit isn’t great). I came back the next day with a co-signer. After about two hours of them figuring up something, they talked my co-signer into putting the vehicle in his name solely. They did so while I was in the bathroom and had no knowledge of what was taking place. It did not register with me until we were in the finance managers office and my co-signer was the only one to sign papers. First off they allowed us to trade in a vehicle that never came to the lot. They told us to find a vin number for a broken down car and they would give us $1,000 for it and we could buy it back for $1. Has to be illegal, right? Secondly, we were told we had to have a $1,000 down payment. The blonde guy, the general manager, told us that if we couldn’t have it by the end of the week to communicate with them and let them know exactly what we could have and when we could have it but just to make sure it was by the end of the month to avoid problems with accounting. Then, they made copies of our debit cards to prove we had bank accounts because neither of us have checks. We left the car lot with a 2018 Elantra that day. So we communicated with them that it would be by the end of the month for sure when we had the down payment . The co-signer drove the car over there to get an inspection sticker and they would not give it to him until we had the down payment. He was told that they tried to run MY debit card on the previous Friday for $500 and it was declined. I would have never authorized them to run my card for that amount of money for any given time. Simply because i do not make that kind of money on any given Friday. Three days later, they were calling ME (who technically has no ties to the car because i didn’t sign a thing) asking for the down payment. They were threatening to come pick up the car and so on. I basically told them to come get it. Days passed by and i didn’t hear anything from them. Adam, the salesman, sent me a text saying they needed a proof of residence for the said co-signer and he would take care of down payment. I sent him the proof of residence. He replied “everything is good, car stays out”. Wouldn’t you take that as everything is good, including the down payment? Few days pass and i get a call from my job saying there is a guy there looking for me. They sent a NEW salesman to my job to get a check for down payment. No one even told me he was coming or that they still needed it. Tracy, the sales manager, called and basically demanded that we be there on a certain day at a certain time. We both work different schedules so it just couldn’t happen that way. Chris, the salesman that they sent to my job, told my co-signer that they would bring new papers to him on a given day to sign. Nobody ever showed up. Today, they knocked on my door to pick up the car. Chris lied to my face and said he never said anything like that. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone! It is VERY unprofessional and the people there are ridiculous. Most of them think they are better than the customers and will talk to you as if you are below them. This has been an awful experience.
Had a appointment at 10:30 am they always say they are over booked & never get to my car! The man in the service department rolled his eyes when I said y'all always have over booking or understaffed! So I will NOT RECOMEND INTERSTATE DODGE TO ANYONE! Go to LEGACY in Natchitoches La! Much better friendly service reps!
My visit to Interstate Hyundai was so rewarding. Fred, Frank, Robert, Jamal, and Andrea were all so friendly and patient with me as I asked a ton of questions and test drove several vehicles. Mr. Fred in the Finance office worked his magic and Mr. Frank and his team went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I wanted in the vehicle I chose which resulted in me becoming the proud buyer of a 2017 Tucson SE Plus. This is my 3rd Hyundai purchase from them and I will most definitely recommend Interstate Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a car. John Klagholtz and his staff are amazing to work with.
Don't get me wrong the salesman was great. The sales manager however was a complete jerk. We tried to buy a mustang in full. He didn't like our offer and instead of making counter offer he and his friends in his office began laughing and mocking us. He then proceeds to come out and basically implied that we didn't have enough money. He was completely rude and clearly thought he was better than us. He literally ran us out of the store with rude words. We were prepared to buy the car in full for the listed price; however, we were trying to get the best deal. He clearly didn't want our business. I am a nurse and my mother, who was with me at time, is the head of radiology at a hospital. We went and bought a mustang else where. I can only hope this deters his business. Thank you!
