Pulled me over,assumed I needed medication because it was my first getting pulled over and I was nervous....him and another officer were making fun of me...even said “why are you scared? There are camera everywhere”and I said “yes sir that’s good” he said “why do you say that? That’s being offensive to me” but All I said was yes sir that’s good
Live here in West Monroe and have had the pleasure to know many of the officers on a personal level. They are caring and polite but also enforce the laws. When required they have no problem making an arrest. This is what our city pays them to do and it is preformed with professionalism. Have taken the West Monroe Citizens Police Academy and loved doing so. Try it and see what it is really like being on the street during a patrol shift. You might be surprised as to what the officer does during that twelve hours. When I was broken into the 4 officers arrived within minutes and were the calm of a terrible incident. Then when the shots fired call was screamed into my phone, the officers again arrived within seconds. Again there were 4 West Monroe officers, at least 2 deputies and at least 2 state troopers. The guns were a single shot semi automatic and then a fully automatic. The officers were on scene from 9.30p to well past 4 am.

My boyfriend and I was pulled over Late Sat night. Tho we were doing nothing wrong one officer was very rude,disrepectful and continually called me a liar. He stated we were observed buying drugs, which was a absolute lie. He found nothing at all when he searched the vehicle. Then he tried to tell me my boyfriend was a convicted felon and was not allowed to have a gun. I had a gun on me as I always carry because I live alone and often have to drive at night alone. None of what he said was true. My boyfriend is not a convicted felon. We do not do drugs. I work for the police dept in another parish and city. This officer was a bully and shouldn't be a police officer. I was visiting an old friend there but if that's the way women get treated by the law here I won't be going back. The officer was really mad he couldnt scare me or intimidate me. The whole time he was questioning me he wouldn't even look me in the eye I held eye contact with him and that made him mad as hell. Your officer is a bully and a liar. He told me a red car seen us stopping to buy drugs which we never stopped anywhere and there was never a red car anywhere around us. Where I work officers would lose their job for this insane behavior teach your offices some respect. The law is you are innocent until proven guilty not your guilty because the cops so.
How about you all resign so real police offices can fill the void that you have created for justice and law?
