I was feeling heat from under the center part of my old Chevy Cavalier while near Calhoun, LA. a local mechanic checked it out and said he couldn't fix it. It appeared my Catalytic converter was lose from a previous installation a while back. I referred to a muffler shop on Thomas by being given directions. When I got to the shop in West Monroe, there were already customers being served but thought he could get me in. I waited. I am glad I did. It turns out I needed another part for the adjustment because of how rusted my exhaust was. However, the mechanic did what he could to get me back on the road with limited out of pocket cost. I just needed to get home (...enjoyed Louisiana, though) and with his help and skills...and understanding, my old car made it back to Minnesota and lasted awhile til I could put the money together for proper repair. If you're in a situation exhaust wise on your car, this is where I would suggest you go!
AWESOME quick service! Everyone else had been quoting me $250 and up to simply cut off my catalytic converter and weld a new one on (which I purchased beforehand). Johnny charged me $60 and had it done in less than 20 minutes!! No fuss, no extra "junk" talk! GIVE HIM A CALL!!
My car makes noise whenever (and only when) I hit the brake, not the usual brake squeaking noise, but a "click-click" metallic thud. This has been more than a month and it worries me. I took it to the dealer. Dealer says "this is normal, drive more and it will go away". A month passed, same thing persists, and the noise got louder.
If you are looking for a muffler shop where everyone is so very respectful, down to earth, and professional, then this is the place to be. They are soo very great at what they do and they stand behind the great work that they do. It was truly a pleasure being there and they make you feel very comfortable when you are there. I would truly recommend everyone to go here. Thank you all a million times.
Worst muffler shop around! Terrible customer service and the bald guy that works there is the rudest guy I have met! No idea why anyone would go to him for exaust problems. He is ignorant and overpriced and very rude!
